bubble - definition
Definition: two nested spheres of surfactant, between them a thin layer of water, surrounding a pocket of air. The exact opposite of a bubble is an antibubble. This strict definition of a bubble does not include bubbles that form when surfactants in a fluid form a single sphere, or simple pockets of gas in fluid, although these are commonly known as bubbles, even to physicists.
