Faraday's Law of Induction - definition - Electromagnetism
Definition: The e.m.f. induced in any circuit is proportional to the rate of change of magnetic flux linked with the circuit. Principle used in every practical electrical machine. Maxwell's field equations involve a more general mathematical statement of this law.
