Fun with physics: a HL2 Rube Goldberg machine - Joystiq

Last semester, I taught a lab where premeds had to build a Rube-Goldberg Machine, using the ideas from the basic college physics syllabus.

While the lab went pretty well, the students did not particularly enjoy the whole process - mostly due to a bunch of logistic issues - 150 students sharing equiptment for 20 being the major problem. Perhaps if they had had access to exploding barrels and zombies, they would have enjoyed it more.
